Structural analysis of the structural elements

The structural analysis is an excerpt of a study designed by the civil engineer Spyros Tsakiris. This excerpt presents the response of the structural elements of typical dimensions, to specifications posed by the following codes:

á.    Greek Code on Loadings of Structures. (Royal Decree 10-12-1946, Greek Govt Gazette Issue No. 171/A/1946)
â.    Greek Code for the Design & Construction of Reinforced Concrete Structures 2000 (Greek Govt Gazette Issue No. 1329/B/06-11-2000).
ã.     Greek Code for the Aseismic Design of Structures (Greek Govt Gazette Issue No. 2184/20/12-1999).
ä.    German DIN 1045 Code on minimum dimensions of pre-cast elements.
å.     Eurocode EC3 (ENV 1993-01-01-1992) for the design of structural steel elements

The excerpt has been checked and translated by the civil engineer Sotiris Papadopoulos.

    Note
The secondary armature of the columns, which is presented as spiral-shaped in the file Skeleton-3D.dwg, can be alternatively implemented by either ties or wire mesh. The secondary armature is considered as wire mesh in the structural analysis.

The structural analysis is available as a PDF file.
